Selection of Cold Storage Types and Layout Planning
In a Smart Cold Chain Logistics Park, selecting the right cold storage types (e.g., pre-cooling rooms, refrigerated rooms, frozen storage) based on the characteristics of the items is essential. The layout should optimize logistics flow for receiving, storing, sorting, and dispatching goods. Functional areas, such as receiving, temporary storage, and dispatch zones, must be logically divided to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption, ensuring smooth operations.


Refrigeration System Design and Equipment Selection
The refrigeration system is critical for efficient cold storage. The system should match the cold storage scale, goods types, and preservation needs (e.g., compressor-based or screw-type refrigeration). High-efficiency, energy-saving equipment such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators, along with reliable control and safety systems, are essential. Environmentally friendly refrigerants like CO2 or Freon should be used. For medium to large-scale projects, semi-closed screw compressors and evaporative condensers are common, often with a PLC automation system and automatic defrosting.


Structure of Cold Storage and Insulation Material Selection
The cold storage structure uses high-strength steel for stability and safety, considering factors like earthquakes and snow loads. Polyurethane foam is used for insulation due to its low thermal conductivity and resistance to moisture and aging. The insulation thickness is tailored to the required temperature. Materials must meet food safety standards. PIR cold storage panels are often used for single-layer structures, while onsite foam spraying is applied for multi-layer designs.


Energy-Saving and Environmental Protection Measures
Energy-saving and environmental protection are key in cold storage design. High-efficiency insulation (e.g., polyurethane, rock wool) and optimized door/window designs help reduce heat loss. Variable frequency compressors and intelligent control systems can achieve energy-efficient refrigeration. Solar-assisted refrigeration and waste reduction technologies should also be integrated to reduce energy reliance and environmental impact, promoting sustainable and efficient operations within the logistics park.
